Installation and limitations: Adhesive backing for mounting to suitable clean, dry surfaces. Follow the supplied installation guide. Cut only at the designated cut points; this model cannot be extended. Keep the power adaptor dry, protect cables from heat and damage, and leave the light powered for smart control. Do not use a conventional wall dimmer.
Apple Home via Matter: The supplied Australian model supports Matter. Use the WiZ app V2 and current device firmware; obtain the device-specific Matter setup code from the packaging or WiZ app. Native HomeKit support is not claimed.
Connection and control: Uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. A Hue Bridge and Thread border router are not required. Local Apple Home control uses your home network. An iPhone with iOS 18 or later can add and control supported Matter accessories without an Apple home hub. Apple Home remote access and automations require a compatible Apple home hub; remote access also requires internet. WiZ app remote access uses the manufacturer service and internet, independently of Apple Home. Apple Home Key does not apply.
