Installation and use: Follow the manufacturer insulation and clearance instructions. New mains wiring or socket installation must be completed by a licensed electrician. Keep power switched on for wireless control; do not use a conventional wall dimmer.
Nearby control: Bluetooth provides nearby app control but does not provide Apple Home or Matter integration.
Apple Home: A separately sold Hue Bridge or Bridge Pro enables Apple Home/HomeKit and Matter integration for supported controls.
Hue app and synchronisation: Keep Hue firmware updated and configure the connection in the Hue app.

Apple Home remote access: Apple Home remote access requires a compatible Apple home hub and internet connection. With an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, supported Matter accessories can be added to and controlled in Apple Home without an Apple home hub. Hue app remote access: Hue app remote access is configured separately through a Hue account and internet connection.
