How does Sensibo Pure help protect against COVID-19?
Sensibo Pure incorporates a triple layered filtration technology which includes an advanced HEPA filter. HEPA filters are critical in the prevention of the spread of airborne bacterial and viral organisms and, therefore, infection. Small particles such as COVID-19 get trapped inside the filter by a process known as brownian motion.
What particle sizes are filtered by the Pure?
Particles as small as 0.1um (more than 100 times thinner than a human hair) are filtered by the HEPA filter of the Sensibo Pure. This includes contaminants such as bacteria and viruses, as well as PM (particulate matter) PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10. Additionally, the active carbon filter absorbs atoms of harmful gases such as smoke and VOCs (Volatile Organic Components).
How does Sensibo Pure filter out bad smells?
Our filters incorporate a carbon filter that traps odor molecules through a process called absorption. Basically these molecules attach to the outside of a surface, rather than being soaked into it.
How many units do I need for my home?
With a range of 173 ft² (16 m²) / with Pure Boost* up to 294ft² (27 m²), we’ve likely got your room size covered. For optimal results, we recommend you place a unit in every room of your house. However, If you want to focus on specific rooms, a good criterion is to start with the rooms where your family spends the most time (living room, bedroom) or where there are indoor pollution sources (kitchen).
What is Pure Boost™ and why does it makes Sensibo Pure different?
A good filtration system is important, and can be found in a range of high quality air purifiers on the market. However, an often overlooked crucial factor is air flow. Pure Boost™ is a unique patent pending technology that regulates the air flow based on factors like geolocation, inside air quality, outside weather & air quality to regulate the fan level of the device. Even better, if you have a Sensibo AC controller, it will use your AC fan to circulate the air even more, when air quality is dangerously low
How does Sensibo Pure sense my indoor air quality?
Sensibo Pure incorporates a sensitive PM sensor within the unit to detect your indoor air quality level. It also uses street level pollution services to estimate the amount of pollution coming from outside your home.
Does Sensibo Pure connect to a power outlet?
Yes. Sensibo connects to the power outlet and measures your air quality 24/7. We ship worldwide and support any power voltage or frequency. If you are shipping to another country and need a different power plug, please write us the country's plug under "Special Instructions". Sensibo Pure is also very energy efficient so you will not notice an increase in your electricity bill.
